I am second generation Filipina-American and grew up in Southern California. Having been raised in an immigrant family, I am keenly aware of how race and cultural identity can shape one’s experiences and relationships and believe in the importance of providing culturally sensitive care.
I use a strength-based approach, drawing tools from different types of therapy. My goal is to empower my clients and help them learn coping strategies, find both solutions and acceptance and develop self compassion and resilience. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, teens and adults from different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
