As a Pelvic Health Occupational Therapist, Sujata combines the mind-body-soul approach of the Eastern Medicine systems of Ayurveda and Yoga, with Western Medicine techniques of Osteopathic Manipulation & Occupational Therapy to treat pelvic floor dysfunction and chronic pain conditions.
Sujata was recognized by the New York State Occupational Therapy Association with the Merit in Practice award for Pelvic Health, and is passionate about increasing awareness and accessibility to pelvic health and wellness services.
She has provided pelvic health and yoga-based educational programming to universities, non-profits, physician groups, and the general community, with the goal of increasing awareness of the benefits of integrative pelvic health care to empower individuals to overcome limitations, improve their quality of life, and achieve personal health goals.
