I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 18 years of experience, and expertise in anxiety, phobias, depression, and PTSD. I love helping AAPI people, people in tech, medicine, and law, artists, and people who are dealing with infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy or postpartum distress. I use warmth, empathy, and compassion to provide evidence-based treatment with structured goals, while also providing space for deep internal exploration and self understanding. We will explore living your values in parenthood, intimate relationships, friendships, work, play, community, learning, and other crucial areas of your life. We will practice how to step back from painful feelings and thoughts, while choosing what you want to do and changing what you can change. It’s okay to be deeply sad. It’s okay to be anxious. It’s okay to judge yourself. It’s okay to be “negative.” It’s okay to be enraged – about unjust treatment both individually and on a societal level (racism, structural racism, sexism, all the isms). All the feelings and parts of you are there for a reason, and sometimes there isn’t any particular reason you can identify – we’ll learn more about that together.

I passionately believe in people and their ability to change. I’m driven to do this work, because I have seen people across a huge swath of issues and concerns create lives they wanted. I am honored to help you on your way, committed to understanding, supporting, and motivating you through this process, knowing you will carry these skills away from therapy and live life well. We bring in the full context of your life, including the ways you are affected by culture, society, and current events.

As a mom myself, I get how hard parenthood is, and as a professional, I know how moms, parents, and caregivers struggle. You are not alone, and there is help here for you.
