Sarah Jung, PhD

Sex/Gender: Cisgender
Pronouns: She / Her
Ethnicity: Korean
Bio

I identify as a cisgender, straight Korean-American woman. Both my research and clinical interests focus on how cultural identities inform mental health and physical health outcomes.  Prior to pursuing a career in psychology, I worked in the financial industry and thus approach therapy with a personal understanding of the struggles and motivations of career-oriented individuals. Together with my training as a scientist-practitioner, I consider how the intersection of identities, whether that be your race, gender or cultural background, informs the self and its relationship with others.
