Bio
You are not alone. It can feel completely isolating to struggle with heavy emotions like depression or anxiety, but you don’t have to do it yourself – I am available to help you navigate through it. As a Filipino-American queer male, my practice is geared towards helping individuals that struggle with identity, lingering traumas, or fear and worry about their future especially those within the Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) and LGBTQ+ communities. Seeking help and talking about some of our darkest and most difficult moments can be really challenging. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Utilizing a culturally sensitive lens and through techniques like Brainspotting and DBT, I strive to help you build a sense of understanding and self-acceptance in a validating and safe environment. Once we understand and have the awareness of what’s happening and why, we can start to grow and change toward the life and goals we want for ourselves.
You don’t have to experience your pain alone. I don’t assume anything when it comes to your story; you are the writer of your narrative and I am here to work together with you on what you feel is important or necessary. I invite you to reach out to me and take the step towards a better tomorrow.
