Are you high achieving but underneath feel self-critical, anxious, lonely, or depressed? Is it hard to trust people and show up as your true self? Do you feel uncertainty about your true self? Does anxiety run your day to day life no matter how much you try to keep it all together? Has self-doubt has been embedded in you through past experiences such as trauma? Have you kept yourself protected from pain throughout the years, but want more for yourself? If you feel drawn to the version of you that is happy and satisfied, has healthy relationships, and a solid sense of who they are and what they want – You’re in the right place.

My name is Ramsha and I am a South Asian therapist based in Dallas, TX serving clients online all throughout Texas. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and career exploration. In therapy, I’ll help you gain insight into how your past has impacted you and how we can move forward with intention. We’ll gain clarity around your values and what truly matters to you so we can take steps that are rooted in your authenticity and empowerment.

In addition to my training, my work is also informed by my lived experiences of being a first-generation Indian-American and Muslim. My background has provided me with the ability to connect with others through deep empathy, introspection, and understanding. Through my experiences, both personal and professional, I have found I connect most with women and young adults/adolescents. I utilize a person-centered and an eclectic therapeutic approach while incorporating psychoeducation, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, strengths-based, and psychodynamic techniques. My clinical interests include meeting each unique individual with cultural humility, empathy, and patience to help them reach their goals and live a more fulfilling life.

My clients are typically motivated, ready to dig deep, and are active participants in their therapy. This means being able to receive questions and insights that take them deeper into their experiences and sense of self. I am a very curious and active participant but do not approach therapy as if I am an expert in you, you are the expert in yourself. We are working together to figure out what has been hidden to make it aware so that you can make the changes you want in your life. Therapy with me is rooted in compassion, creative insight, and goal oriented skills.

This journey is unique for everyone and if you’re interested in starting this experience, you are welcome to contact me for an initial consultation. I’m proud of you for taking your first step!
