Therapy can be intimidating and may bring up many different emotions, feelings, and thoughts. Each of these unique responses to our own individual experiences are what make the process of therapy so special. I value building a connection and safety in the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist to be one of the most valuable tenets in the therapeutic relationship. I believe in creating a nonjudgmental space in which I can encourage deconstructing harmful internalized messages, processing experiences of attachment and trauma, exploring identity, and managing relational and personal challenges. I work from an integrative lens, incorporating attachment-based, multicultural, somatic, and social justice perspectives. I believe in breaking negative cyclical patterns, addressing intergenerational and generational trauma, and will work with you to understand you for you, whether it is through mental, physical, emotional, social, or spiritual healing. My philosophy is deeply rooted to help facilitate and encourage a process for you to be the expert in solving your own problems from a non-judgmental and supportive standpoint. I believe my goal is to guide you through genuine concern, empathy, and compassion, in hopes of fulfilling your journey to self-empowerment and self-discovery.
