I am a South Asian Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Geography at The University of British Columbia in Kelowna, British Columbia and earned my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University in Seattle, WA.

I work from an integrative lens, incorporating a variety of approaches some of which are person-centered, attachment and trauma, multicultural, strength-based, somatic, social justice, directive, and anti-oppressive perspectives. I believe in breaking negative cyclical patterns, addressing intergenerational and generational trauma, and will work with you to understand you for you. I use the space we create together to encourage deconstructing harmful internalized messages, processing experiences of attachment and trauma, exploring identity, and managing relational and personal challenges. I encourage a space where all identities are welcomed and bring attention to identities most marginalized. Above everything, I value the built connection and safety in the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist.

I aim to empower others like me who have constantly heard “it is not okay to go to therapy and share your personal life with anyone,” to help shift this tabooed narrative in the South Asian community into a more positive one. It is OKAY to share your personal life with someone who can help build that trusting relationship with you, and it is also okay to express your feelings and emotions without feeling the pressures of shame and guilt.

My goal is to guide you with genuine curiosity, empathy, and compassion, in hopes of fulfilling your journey to self-empowerment and self-discovery. I look forward to meeting you and building this connection with you!
