About Me

Born and raised in Silicon Valley, I bring a unique perspective to my practice which is deeply rooted in the innovative, dynamic, culturally diverse environment of my hometown. My background has enriched my understanding of the challenges faced by individuals in a fast-paced, high-tech world, allowing me to provide nuanced, empathetic care that reflects both the demands and aspirations of the local communities I serve.

Education

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from State University of New York Upstate Medical University where I received comprehensive training in both the theoretical and practical aspects of psychiatric care. My education equipped me with knowledge of mental health disorders, advanced clinical skills, and evidence-based treatment approaches. This rigorous academic background, combined with hands-on clinical experience across diverse settings, has prepared me to offer compassionate and effective care to individuals with a wide range of mental health needs.

Experience

With extensive experience as a psychiatric nurse, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric units, psychiatric emergency rooms, rehabilitation facilities, long-term care centers, interventional psychiatry clinics, and outpatient clinics. This diverse background has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of mental health care from acute crises to long-term management. In addition to my clinical practice, I have also taught nursing clinicals at various colleges, where I shared my expertise with aspiring healthcare professionals, enhancing their understanding of psychiatric care and strengthening their clinical skills. This combination of practical experience and educational involvement allows me to offer a well-rounded, informed approach to mental health care that empowers my patients.
