Bio

Hi there! As a multiracial (Asian & Caucasian) female therapist who grew up in Texas, I understand some of the unique struggles that individuals from multicultural, multiracial, and immigrant families can face. Maybe you’ve struggled to fit in or feel a true sense of belonging. Maybe anger, anxiety, fear, or shame became your default emotion. Maybe it was difficult for you to develop a strong personal identity that meshes with your family’s cultural background.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm and welcoming space for my clients to explore their past and current experiences, practice curiosity and self-compassion, and get in touch with their emotions. I am passionate about helping my clients gain understanding about how their unique experiences have been shaped by their identities, family systems, communities, and cultural backgrounds. Together, we can set meaningful therapeutic goals so you can make changes in your life that align with your personal values and beliefs.

I am passionate about working with teens and young adults, multiracial/multicultural clients, and LGBTQ+ clients. I specialize in trauma work, childhood abuse, sexual abuse, and family conflict.

All identities, cultures, and experiences are welcome in my therapy space. Please don’t hesitate to reach out via text, email, or through my website if you have any questions or are interested in scheduling an initial consultation!
