Bio

A bit about me:

Hi, my name is Loretta (she/her), I am a queer registered social worker providing individual and family therapy. In my practice I work with neurodivergent and QTBIPOC communities, navigating childhood trauma, PTSD, AuDHD/ADHD, anxiety, low mood and substance use. I find I work particularly well with clients struggling with overthinking, challenges around embodiment, or those feeling stuck in relational patterns.

Values & Approach

I view therapy as a chance for us to slow down, and get curious about this human experience. My approach is warm, collaborative and respectful. I am trained in multiple approaches, and enjoy bringing self compassion, mindfulness-based, body-centered practices to the counselling experience. I draw from Attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, Somatics, EFT, DBT, Feminist theory and Narrative therapy, and ground this work politically from an anti-oppressive and intersectional lens. In our work together, we’ll explore strategies to help you build resilience and cultivate compassion.
