Kulkiran Nakai (they/them) is an intersectional feminist and liberation-focused psychologist whose purpose is to serve individuals and groups with multi-marginalized identities in need of healing from relational trauma. As a fat, neuroEMERGENT, first-generation Punjabi-Sikh-Amercian cis-queer femme, Kulkiran has direct experience with prejudice, discrimination, and oppression for these intersecting identities throughout their life, and they deeply understand the profound impact that bias and stigma has on one’s mental health and wellbeing. What’s more, they have also directly experienced the generative and transformative power of healing in community.

Kulkiran is divinely called to help dismantle systems of oppression at inner-child, intergenerational, collective, and ancestral levels in efforts towards protecting the preciousness of life and thriving in an equitable world of post-traumatic growth, sovereignty, and abundance. They value practicing decolonized healing justice trauma work and psychedelic integration support with the use of spiritual and somatic internal family systems, psychodrama, pleasure, and play. They share reverence for the courage it takes to step into our own light, to reclaim our own voice, and to live out an unapologetic, authentic, wholesome, and meaningful life.

Kulkiran is honored to hold divine sacred space as a mirror and a model for the organic unfolding of one’s healing journeys towards wellness, liberation, and wholeness. To learn more about them and their work, visit here: https://www.azaadhealingjusticestudio.org/
