Bio

My priority is to create a space where you are understood. Many of my clients come to me burnt out from therapy experiences where they couldn’t show up as their full selves, but as your therapist, I want to provide an affirming space so we can redirect all the energy you’ve spent explaining who you are toward progression and healing. I commit to working as hard as you do, walking with you as we build strategies and road maps that lead you to the next favorite version of yourself.

In my seven years as a therapist, I have worked with clients on a range of goals and challenges, with a special focus on anxiety, depression, life transitions, and career-related stress. I’m also certified as a Transgender Care Therapist by ITCA, with 50+ hours of training in trans health issues with a focus on addressing gender dysmorphia through affirmative care, and have a background in ethical nonmonogamy, intergenerational trauma healing, restorative justice circle keeping, and leadership development.

I’m a Sixth Street Wellness therapist because this is a place where I can bridge harmony and rigor in my practice. Therapy is a science, an art, and most importantly, it’s hard work that requires both therapist and client to put in effort together. This is why the Sixth Street Wellness value “Resolute” is important to me: I believe therapy is a collaboration that must be honest, evidence-based, evolving, and flavored with both a client and a therapist’s authentic identities.

I come into this work as a queer, FilAm, first generation nonbinary descendant of healers and caregivers. These identities have shaped my approach to therapy, collective care, program development, and being in community. I look forward to exploring how I can support you.
