Bio

Welcome! I applaud you for taking this courageous step to prioritize your mental health and seek the support that you deserve. You’re at the right place.

I work with BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), immigrants, Asian, and LQBQT+ identifying teens and adults. I specialize in immigration and childhood traumas. Other areas I can help with include coping with grief/loss, boundary setting, relationship issues, body image/self-confidence, and identity crisis. My 20+ years of experience healing from traumas and navigating systemic barriers deepens my understanding that the inner work can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. I honor each client’s unique experience and provide trauma-informed care that is culturally affirming and sensitive.

As a certified clinical trauma professional, I help my clients learn how to feel safe in their own body, regulate emotions effectively, and build trusting relationship with self and others. Using a strength-based approach, I focus on building on their existing strengths, resources, and resilience to overcome difficulties and achieve their goals.
Starting therapy can feel daunting and you’re not alone in your healing journey. In our work together, I hope to co-create a safe space so you can come as you are and be heard- without criticism, judgment or shame.
