Bio
Life has been rough on you and yet, somehow you’ve made it this far. At this point, you have people looking up to you; asking how they can do the same. Yet, little do others know that you’re not even sure how you’ve gotten here. You’ve kind of just followed your instincts and did what you had to do. Though, if you were to be completely honest with yourself, it’s not exactly what you “could” do. You HAD to handle problems that overwhelmed your abilities at the time because no one else was around to help. And now, the fact that you’re continuing to handle everything on your own is starting to take its toll.
The reality is that no one, including you, is meant to face life’s turmoils on their own. The reality is that people thrive when they have genuine support from their fellow community members. Even though you might have faced your hardships/traumas in isolation, it doesn’t mean your healing needs to be in isolation.
Hi, my name is Gina Li. As a therapist & fellow human-being, I deeply empathize with the impulse to bury your pain. It can feel a lot safer than taking the risk of sharing & potentially getting hurt again. If we worked together, I would work towards co-creating a space with you to work through your past and present difficulties/traumas in life so that you can start living again.
