As a counsellor, my perspective stems from my ethnic background and where I grew up. I am a Chinese-Tibetan woman, a second-generation Indian and a first generation Canadian. To name a few, I can support people who have experienced a wide range of issues, such as, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, PTSD, hopelessness, post-migration stress, prejudice, racism, and gender and identity issues. Additionally, I have also worked with people with Autism and their caregivers as an IBI/ABA therapist.
It takes courage to reach out for help, especially if that help involves taking an honest look at ourselves – our thoughts, our emotions, our lives. At Your Story, I will accompany you in this journey. I uphold a non-judgmental, empathic, and trauma-sensitive space within my practice.
I am currently accepting clients in person and virtually. I would be happy to meet you for a free 15-min phone call consultation, and then you can decide if I am the right therapist for you. As a practicum student, I will see clients under the supervision of Judy Lui, Msc, CCC, RP. and MacGyver Kou, Msc, RP
