Cassidy Fan (she/her) is a Taiwanese American psychotherapist with a Master of Social Work from University of Southern California. She is also currently a Doctor of Psychology candidate at Pepperdine University. As a first-generation Asian American, Cassidy’s experiences are unique which fueled her passions to pursue a career in psychotherapy to serve marginalized and vulnerable populations. Her training and background have allowed her to utilize and combine treatment modalities best suited for her clients’ unique needs. Cassidy utilizes a person-centered approach and strength-based approach which empowers that the client is the expert of themselves to better focus on their goals. Cassidy also aims to provide a calm, affirming, safe, and culturally appropriate environment to ensure her clients receive the most supportive environment possible to ensure their growth.

 

Cassidy’s background includes: serving the unhoused veteran population at the VA Medical Center, serving teens, Asian/Asian American, and LGBTQIA+ populations at local non-profits, and serving as a registered behavioral interventionist for children with Autism. Her therapeutic interests include but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, relationships and family issues, healthy communication, disordered eating/body issues, persons of color, intergenerational trauma, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+, and life transitions.
