I am glad you are here, and acknowledge you for your courage in this journey to healing. As a psychodynamic therapist, I invite clients to go deeper. If you feel called to that in whatever capacity, I am happy to chat more about what that looks like.

Many often come to therapy to address symptoms: anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues etc. Together we will see what these emotions are actually trying to tell us.

As a trauma-informed therapist, you can expect that sessions that build off each one another. As your therapist I am empathic, kind, and forward. Clients often give me the feedback that our sessions are thought-provoking. I do not give advice, I give guidance. I truly believe the therapy is a space where we can heal and come back home to ourselves.

I specialize working with C-PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder. As such, therapy is a two-pong approach: the skills & tools to get you through the day-to-day and stabilize symptoms; and the trauma work of getting to the root of the issues. With this approach, we can get to a deeper understanding of the complexities of the human experience, and go beyond the diagnoses.

I combine DBT/CBT skills and tools, with EMDR and IFS to stabilize symptoms, make way for healing, and a deeper understanding & connection to self.

I am a proud daughter of Vietnamese refugees,  born and raised in San Diego, California.

For me, life is not just about finding balance, it is about finding harmony in all the different parts of who we are.
