I am a registered social worker providing support to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and racial identity. As a second generation Indian-Canadian, I understand the unique challenges that individuals can experience taking up space in an environment that may not feel comfortable to them. My approach integrates evidence-based techniques with a humanistic perspective, honouring each person’s unique experiences and strengths. By fostering a safe and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, I aim to facilitate self-discovery, empowerment, and meaningful change. Together, we’ll navigate your journey towards healing and self-actualization, with compassion and authenticity guiding every step.

I utilize an eclectic form of therapy, meaning I pull from multiple tools in my toolbox. A few of these tools or therapeutic modalities include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I aim to provide my clients with the tools and strategies to lead a fulfilling, meaningful life.

Through collaborative exploration and practical techniques, you will learn to challenge and reframe unhelpful beliefs, develop coping strategies, and cultivate healthier behaviours, leading to lasting positive change. I also emphasize the importance of self-exploration, self-acceptance, and personal growth by providing an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore their experiences and emotions. Through genuine self-exploration and unconditional positive regard, you can develop a greater sense of self-worth, authenticity, and fulfillment.
