I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who obtained my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. Specializing in therapy for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, low self-esteem, grief/trauma, and life adjustments/daily stressors, I possess the skills necessary to support individuals diagnosed with mild to severe mental health conditions in effectively managing their symptoms.
Guided by the understanding that individuals respond to adversity based on their learned experiences, I firmly believe in the inherent resilience of each person. I recognize that every individual has the capacity for growth and positive change, and I am committed to empowering clients to tap into their own strengths and resources.
My therapeutic approach focuses on fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Through this process, clients can gain insight, develop coping skills, and work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
In my practice, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is effective in addressing various mental health concerns including anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and depression. Additionally, I draw from other modalities and techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
I am dedicated to fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes healing, growth, and resilience. It is a privilege to accompany clients on their journey towards self-discovery and personal transformation, and I am honored to play a role in their process of becoming their best selves.
