As a second-generation Asian immigrant, I intimately understand the complexities of being marginalized and “othered.” My journey of defining, understanding, and celebrating my own identities has been both grueling and joyful and I imagine it to be a lifelong process. It’s from this deeply personal place that my passion for supporting individuals with marginalized and intersecting identities has emerged.
I am dedicated to helping clients process and heal, strengthen a sense of identity, and cultivate a profound sense of self-compassion and self-competence. I firmly believe that good therapy is grounded in a trusting and empathetic relationship between client and therapist. I strive to bring warmth, care, and humor to our interactions. Our work together will be collaborative and focused on your feelings of safety and trust in our relationship. Creating a safe space for you to authentically be yourself is one of my core objectives. We’ll take things step by step, at your pace.
If you’re interested in possibly working together, I’m happy to offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation. I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you!
