Bio

Hi! I’m Aishwarya (she/her) and I’m a Resident in Counseling in Virginia. As a South Asian counselor who has lived in various parts of the world, I understand that cultural norms/values are diverse amongst the South Asian diaspora and believe in the importance of integrating one’s cultural background/upbringing throughout sessions. My lived experience as a woman of color, cross cultural kid, and child of immigrants shapes my worldview and how I approach counseling.

I have served and continue to serve a diverse population and enjoy working with couples, individuals, and families. Through a multicultural, relational, and emotionally focused lens, I work with you to set and achieve your goals. Collaboration is important to me in the healing process and your input is valuable. Together, we will work hard and at your pace to explore past, present, and future challenges and cultivate the tools for your growth.

Healing is neither linear nor easy. It takes courage to take this step. If you think we would be a good fit and would like to learn more, please email me for a free consult.  I look forward to hearing from you!
