Bio

Building a life you love and becoming a person you feel good about are feats that most of us strive for, and yet find them difficult to achieve. We often feel that we are lacking in some way, that our past experiences hold us back, or that we are trapped in our circumstances. Whether you’re a young adult navigating issues of identity, a parent worried for about their child’s emotional health, a teen dealing with anxiety and depression, or someone navigating the myriad of life’s stressors, you are not alone.

I bring my expertise in mental health combined with evidence-based techniques and a warm, empathetic posture to collaborate with you on your goals. I specialize in working with adoptees and their families, and others who are navigating issues of identity, attachment/intimacy, or grief and loss. I am licensed in New York and New Jersey.

I believe healing primarily happens through our relationships with one another. My work prioritizes creating a strong therapeutic relationship in which you feel safe enough to explore old wounds and current stressors, and then make changes that would make your life better.
