My clients share a sense of anxiety, guilt, and shame that stems from the disconnection between what they want for themselves versus what they do. They simply got to a point where they just wanted to talk to someone about their frustrating experiences. In turn, they often find the clarity they are looking for.
From traditional therapy settings to working with service members, I’ve gathered useful insights into the features and flaws of the human experience. My professional background is rooted in psychology and social work, and my therapeutic approach, guided by Attachment theory, neuroscience, and Buddhist philosophy, is inquisitive, compassionate, and existential.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I wish the field of therapy didn’t exist. I wish we lived in a world where integrated communities supported our individual and collective well-being. The reality, however, is that we live under capitalist, patriarchal systems that prioritize profits over people. This hurts all of us. Navigating life under these systems is challenging, and I challenge you to do everything in your power to turn adversity into growth.
