Bio
As a Filipina, I understand the difficulties and stigma of being vulnerable with a stranger and being open to one’s personal difficulties. Have you ever felt like you needed extra support and are unsure of who you can reach out and talk to? Or better yet, felt as though no one understands the struggle of being “you”? This is why as a therapist and an Asian American, I strive to create a safe and inviting environment for my client in order to break the stigma surrounding mental health. By using a psychodynamic and eclectic approach, I assist my clients by meeting them at their current level and need. My counseling background has focused on youth and adolescents, ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders. I work with individuals of all gender identities and romantic/sexual orientation. I currently contract with Resolve Strategies, Inc. where I provide outpatient services along with volunteering for Heads Up Guidance Services and working in youth/adolescent acute & residential treatment.
I provide mental health services under the supervision of Andrea Epting, LPC, MAC, CPCS, ACS, CST, CSAT and the Clinical Director and Client Rights Advocate of Resolve Strategies, Inc. If you would like to know more about me as a counselor or have questions regarding the therapeutic process, please feel free to contact me for a free 15 minute consult.
